India's G20 presidency may be winding down, but that doesn't mean it's done with Bill Gates.
The Microsoft co-founder and philanthropist met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi this week and praised the country's work on vaccines and health care, the Times of India reports.
"India has an amazing ability to manufacture lots of safe, effective, and affordable vaccines, some of them supported by the Gates Foundation," Gates wrote in a blog post.
"Vaccines produced in India have saved millions of lives during the pandemic and prevented other diseases around the world."
He also praised India's efforts to eliminate diseases like tuberculosis, visceral leishmaniasis, and lymphatic filariasis.
