A new center for nursing and allied health at a Kansas community college has been awarded a $250,000 grant, the Salina Journal reports.
Cloud County Community College will build the Technical Education and Innovation Center, which will house the college's nursing and Allied Health programs.
The center will also house the college's nursing program and three other academic programs.
The grants, awarded by the Salina Regional Health Foundation, focus on children's health, childhood obesity, mental health, substance abuse, aging populations, heart disease, and stroke.
