The country of India is an exciting place to visit. It has a rich history in textile, jewelry and music just to name a few. It is also a very populous country. It is challenged with a large percentage of its people living in poverty. With the advancement of technology, Social Entrepreneurs have formed organizations to push back poverty through education, health, nutrition and employment.
Social Entrepreneurs are leaders in the community who are visionaries. They do not wait for the government to fix a problem. They come up with creative and resourceful ideas that work. They create platforms that address the root cause of poverty. They are not always successful with their ideas but they have big hearts and they have risen to the challenge.
