Bandage Buddies won $6,000 for their proposal at the BioDesign Sprint.

The competition creates real-world solutions for the healthcare industry.

"The work of teams like Bandages Buddies is a great example of how students are addressing critical challenges in healthcare," says Dr. David Perry, president of the American College of Surgeons.

Other winners include Patch Protect, Streamline Urodynamics and ElctroNerds.
