The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention has released its annual list of the country's most suicidal people, and the top 10 include a man who killed himself, a woman who took her own life, a teen who killed herself, and a couple who committed suicide.
The list is based on a survey of 1,550 people and includes people who have killed themselves, those who took their own lives, and people who have committed suicide, the Washington Post reports.
The top 10 are: Margalit Fox, 33, of Eugene, Ore., who killed herself on Oct.
4.
She was divorced and had two children.
She had called 911 three times in the month before she killed herself.
She was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder, a form of alcohol and drug addiction.
She told the dispatcher she was worried about her children, who were being raised by their mother, who had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
She said they were being neglected by their father, who had recently been diagnosed with schizophrenia.
She was also worried about her mother, who had recently been diagnosed with breast cancer.
She called 911 three times in the month before she killed herself.
