A Scottish climate scientist and environmental activist has been named as a brand ambassador for an "innovative" dog waste bag company, Consumerist reports.
Laura Young will work with Project Harmless, which makes dissolvable, water- and medical-grade dog waste bags.
"We will use nearly 10 billion dog waste bags, just in the UK this year alone," says the company's co-founder.
"Laura's role will act as a catalyst to amplify the need for responsible pet ownership, to help fight plastic pollution and its terrible consequences."
Young says she is "honored to be part of their journey."
