Experts hope mental health kiosks can save lives

Where does one even begin trying to sort out a mental health diagnosis? Sometimes there are too many variables keeping the public from trying to figure it out. How do you even reach the masses in a simple, concise way? It turns out mental health kiosks may be the answer, and Kansas is paving the way.

Soon, certain locations in county health department lobbies will host kiosks where the public can go for a brief, 2 minute screening. These short screenings are anonymous, and will provide valuable data to be used in a variety of ways. With a mental disorders and suicides increasing each year, these kiosks will gain valuable insights for health experts and law enforcement. Hopefully these advancements will pave the way for the rest of the country.
