If you're looking for a way to improve your health and well-being, there's a new project out of Wales that could help.
Swansea University has launched the National Network for Innovation in Sport and Health, or NNIISH, which aims to "transform the landscape of health and sport technology in Wales," per a press release.
The idea is to work with industry, the National Health Service of Wales, and academia to create cutting-edge sports technology, medical technology, and healthcare solutions.
"By fostering a community across sport, health, and technology, we aim to drive forward innovative solutions that will revolutionize the sector," says Keith Lloyd, Pro-Vice Chancellor and Executive Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Health, and Life Science, per the press release.
NNIISH will be led by the university, with support from local health boards and the Swansea Bay City Deal, the Guardian reports.
The first projects are expected to be completed by 2020.
