The University of North Dakota's student body just elected its new president and vice president, and they're promising to make the institution "absolutely tailored to each student," the Grand Forks Herald reports.
"We want everyone to enjoy, benefit, and grow from their time spent in school here," says Connor Ferguson, a senior from Minnesota who's majoring in information systems and minoring in cybersecurity.
He and Maya Orvis, his running mate, say their You Forever slogan came from conversations they had with other students on campus.
"We wanted to be clear that everything we stood for was about the needs of others' kind of like creating a campus focused on you,'" Ferguson tells the Herald.
They're also aiming to make UND a place where "wellness is the foundation," says Orvis, a junior from Minnesota who's working toward her degree in pre-medicine and biology.
They've also launched the university's ForeverUND campaign, which aims to raise funds for capital projects, faculty and research, and programs and priority needs.
