The American Hospital Association, which is holding its annual membership meeting in Washington, DC, this week, has a message for lawmakers: Tell them what they're going to tell them.
"In other words, we have told them [lawmakers] what we are going to tell them," the AHA's chief executive says in a press release.
The group's four top priorities: funding cuts, ensuring patients have access to care, strengthening the health care workforce, and holding commercial insurers accountable for practices that delay, deny, and disrupt care.
"We will continue the drum beat and tell them why we need action on these four essential advocacy priorities," the CEO says.
