Thanks to a grant from the state of Massachusetts, more than 3,000 young people will be able to get a summer job this summer, the Boston Globe reports.
According to a press release from the state's attorney general, the Healthy Summer Youth Jobs Grant Program will fund jobs that promote "healthy living, disease prevention, and good nutrition," including "building and maintaining a community garden or urban farm," "addressing food security and wellness needs of low-income communities," "providing educational content on the environment and local natural resources," and "instructing youth on wellness and recreational activities."
The AG's office will be accepting grant applications until April 19, 2024.

Sustainable Principles for an Innovating Nigeria
The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) released the Nigerian Sustainable Banking Principles, an agreement signed by 34 banks, including the original eight of the nation’s leading banks, that covered nine key areas: environmental and social risk management, environmental and social footprint, human rights, women’s economic empowerment, financial inclusion, environmental and social governance, capacity building, collaborative partnerships and reporting.
