Patel is the associate program director at DiMe, a nonprofit that's a co-host of CancerX, a public-private partnership aiming to "revolutionizing cancer innovation in the United States," per a press release.
Its mission: to "advance innovative solutions for cancer prevention, treatment, and cure."
Per the release, CancerX "brings together diverse stakeholders with a singular focus on advancing innovative solutions for cancer prevention, treatment, and cure."
Among its founding members: Volpara Health, a global leader in cancer detection software; the American Cancer Society; the Office for the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology; and the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health.
