In a study recently published online in Childhood Obesity, elementary school leaders across the country reported that students generally like the healthier school lunches after the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) updated nutrition and meal standards.
The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) funded the study, which also reports that the kids approved these changes, and that there have not been widespread challenges with kids not buying or eating the meals.
