The North Central Michigan Community Foundation has awarded $20,540 in grants to 11 local nonprofits in Crawford, Ogemaw, and Oscoda counties.
Among the recipients are the Ogemaw Hills Community of Caring for a Diabetic Health Outcome program, Pegasus Springs Therapeutic Riding Center, and Northern Transformation Corporation for transportation assistance for the MiCareer Quest event, MLive.com reports.
The foundation's board of trustees approved the grants last month.
