The Rock County Valley Community will be receiving a 2.11 million grant from the federal government to assist in the after-care of people who have been incarcerated from their prisons. The services include mental health and substance abuse services and will be provided through
Compass Behavioral Health Clinic located at 1820 Center Ave. (former Benjamin Franklin Store) on the south side of Janesville.

The program will be overseen by Human Resources Administration, the Rock County Jail and the Department of Corrections, according to Angel Eggers, the agency's executive director. The program is slated to span a period of five years. It will be called the Transitional Recovery Services to Empower Assist and Transcend (TREAT), which will assist 50 people yearly. It will provide Suboxone and Vivitrol when needed. Ms. Eggers believes it will reduce crime.
